""Las Vegas" is a show filled with glitz, glamour, and talented hot young stars. Therefore, it's no wonder that Nikki Cox fits so well into the show. With eye-catching good looks and pure talent, Cox is one of television's most promising young actresses. On "Las Vegas" she stars as Montecito event coordinator Mary Connell, who is the on and off love interest of Josh Duhamel's character, Danny McCoy. "I just hope that my poor, sad character eventually ends up with Danny McCoy, who she's been pining after for her whole life," Cox says.

Fans hoping to see sparks fly between Danny and Mary got their wish in a recent episode in which the two shared an intimate bathtub scene. "Filming scenes like that are always odd," Cox tells me, "but I feel comfortable with Josh and care about him a great deal, so it could be much worse [Laughs]. Scenes like that are just part of the job.""

NIKKI COX - COX REPLACES HER FUNNYMAN: "Hollywood actress NIKKI COX has broken off her engagement to funnyman BOBCAT GOLDTHWAIT - but has quickly replaced him with fellow comic JAY MOHR.

The 26-year-old beauty dated the BLOW actor, 42, for five years after they met on TV series UNHAPPILY EVER AFTER.

Las Vegas Spoilers for February 7: "When the hotel enters one of its slowest weeks of the year, Ed (James Caan) decides to stir things up a bit by switching everyone's job positions around so they can walk in one another's shoes. Delinda (Molly Sims) takes over for Ed and finds herself bored stiff after having to attend a city hall meeting while Sam (Vanessa Marcil) and Mary (Nikki Cox) take over surveillance. Meanwhile, Danny (Josh Duhamel) is in charge of the casino floor and runs into an old high school buddy who's having extremely unusual and suspicious luck winning millions of dollars. Elsewhere, Mike (James Lesure) is put to the task of clearing a traffic ticket that Ed claims is wrong - despite the fact that there are photos to prove his guilt. Marsha Thomason also stars. But before she can elaborate on what that is, Nessa comes over and kisses Mike, pretending to be his girlfriend to make Nina jealous, and Mike leaves before Nina can finish her statement.

Later, we see Nina and her friends still on a winning streak at the craps table. Casino host Sam (Vanessa Marcil) introduces herself to Nina and offers to get the three women into any club of their choice in Las Vegas. The women agree excitedly, and Rhona spies series regulars Mary (Nikki Cox) and Delinda (Molly Sims) across the casino and tells Sam to 'invite them,' too. Debbie chimes in with 'those girls are hot!' as she and Rhona check them out, and it finally dawns on Sam that these women are not straight. So Sam invites Delinda and Mary, but doesn't tell them the other women are gay."
